I thought i wouldn't see the difference in freshness between this and a regular mason jar but there is a difference. This jar keeps my herbs so fresh, it is really really smell proof, & it fits in my large Silverton. Only thing that I would recommend is to have a divider in the medium size and above so that you can keep at least 2 different herbs in there. Love this jar!
